The Slocum Heights family and graduate student complex, on Syracuse University’s South Campus (approximately two miles from Main Campus), includes apartments for single students and families.

Single apartment units are completely furnished and the cost ranges from $3,210 to $4,440 per semester, per person. The contracts include both the fall and spring semesters. Students remaining through the summer and returning to University housing the following fall may rent during the summer on a weekly basis.

One- and two-bedroom Slocum Heights family units are available, either furnished or unfurnished, for 12-month leases and range from $705 to $842 per month. All costs are for the 2004-05 academic year and include utilities.

Summer housing is available to students from mid-May through early August; minimum stay is six weeks. The available apartments are located on Winding Ridge Road on South Campus. For more information, contact the South Campus housing office at 315-443-2567.

Campus meal plans are optional for graduate students and costs vary. To view housing and meal plan options, go to the website www.syr.edu/housingmealplans.

Many graduate students choose to live off campus in private apartments in the neighborhoods near the University. Orange Housing maintains an off-campus housing directory listing available apartments as well as notices from people looking for roommates to share apartments.
