Biography

I am a first-year student PhD student who will be working with Professor John Yinger in the Center for Policy Research. I am interested in the relationship between economic development policy and public finance, especially as it relates to the public sector’s provision of goods and services. Immediately prior to joining Maxwell, I received a MA in Urban Planning and Policy, concentrating on economic development. Preceding my graduate education, I spent nearly a decade in the financial services industry as a consultant and research analyst. When I am not studying or in class, I am hiking with my wife and kids in central NY, pursuing the art of slow-cooked BBQ, or developing my skills as a novice home brewer.
