The Upstate Health Research Network (UHRN)
The UHRN is a consortium of universities and expert researchers coordinated through The Center for Policy Research at the Maxwell School of Citizenship at Syracuse University. The researchers conduct Academic Research related to healthcare policy, healthcare pricing, Medicare, Private insurance in healthcare market structure, through a major grant from FAIR Health. Their expertise is in the development and ongoing enhancement of the methodologies employed in structuring and validating the FAIR Health database and products,which are used by academics, patients, providers and the health insurance industry to understand cost, pricing and accessability of out-of-network healthcare procedures and claims.
