The Maxwell School of Syracuse University | Admission and Finances
Information| Application Form | Financial Assistance

The easiest way to apply is to download an application form in PDF format, print it, complete it, and return it by conventional mail. This form may be used to apply to all Maxwell School graduate programs. (If they wish, students applying to International Relations can instead apply online.)

Applications for graduate study at Syracuse are submitted to The Graduate School—the college of record for all graduate students at Syracuse University.  Each department at Maxwell reviews applications individually then conveys its admission recommendations to the Graduate School. Official offers of admission come from the Dean of the Graduate School.

After printing and completing the PDF form, send it to:

Syracuse University
Graduate Admissions Processing
303 Bowne Hall
Syracuse, NY  13244-1140

Note: To open and print a PDF file, you need Adobe Acrobat, downloadable here.

As an alternative, you can also request a printed application package, which will be sent to you through conventional mail. Send an e-mail to the department or program of your interest; be certain to include your mailing address.
