Application Process and Admissions
Applications to the CAS in Security Studies as a concurrent
program are processed on a rolling basis or as we receive them. However, it is best to submit applications
for the fall semester by September 1, and for the spring semester by February 1.
All applicants complete the Internal Admission Application. Applicants must request that their academic
advisor sign the internal admission application before the applicant brings the
document to the Executive Education Program Office.
A complete application includes all of the following:
- A completed Syracuse University graduate school
Internal Admissions Application
- Resume
- Personal statement – this includes your
background and why you wish to complete the CAS in E-Governance
- A copy of the original application to Syracuse
University – ask your current program office to send a copy from their records
- 1 letter of recommendation from a current
professor
Note: GRE Scores
are not required. The Admissions
Committee reviews applications considering the unique characteristic and
experience of each applicant.
Admission
Requirements
Applicants must have 7 or more years of mid-level professional
experience, including management responsibilities that demonstrate increasing
levels of supervision of projects and personnel.
