Students from Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Complete their Program

Sixteen students from IDC completed their program with a final presentation at the Maxwell School on October 5th. We really enjoyed having them on campus! Special thanks to Hani for all his hard work facilitating!

Background

In 1996, representatives of The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) of Herzliya, Israel and the Maxwell School of Syracuse University began discussions to identify areas where the two institutions could collaborate. Leaders from IDC visited Syracuse University and the Maxwell School in the Fall of 1996, and in 1997 Syracuse sent a delegation of faculty and administrators to visit the IDC. In Fall 1998, leaders of IDC returned to Syracuse for additional talks. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is one of the results of the meetings and underscores the intention of both institutions to establish a formal relationship that will benefit students and faculty over the long term.
