EMPA/DCP student Victor M. Castillo wins the Major
Henry Ofeciar Award for Leadership
 Major Hank Ofeciar, a 2005 graduate from the Maxwell EMPA/DCP program
was killed in Afghanistan in August 2007. In his memory, the Whitman
School established the Major Henry Ofeciar Award for Leadership. The
award, presented to the DCP student who has displayed leadership
qualities, selfless support to other students, and support and
participation in the Whitman, was awarded to current EMPA/DCP student
Victor M. Castillo on February 1, 2008. Congratulations Victor!More
