EMPA student Xiaoping Liu presents at the
Executive Exchange Program
Twice a month EMPA students hold a seminar called Executive Exchange
where one student presents to his or her fellow students a topic of
their interest, drawing from their experiences and prior knowledge they
have brought to Maxwell. The seminar starts with lunch and then leads
into a 30 minute presentation followed by a 45 minute
question/answer/discussion period.
On March 4 at Executive Exchange EMPA student Xiaoping Liu presented
"Developing Adaptive Leadership". Xiaoping discussed the changing world
the need for adaptive leadership. She recounted from her own experiences
in China and the UN mission to explain the importance of adaptive
leadership.
On April 1, EMPA student Yaron Isreali presented “The Israeli Kibbutz
Model”. Yaron discussed the history of the Kibbutz and how it has
changed in recent years. Yaron brought in a Kibbutz member who lived and
grew up in Kibbutz in Israel. She shared her experience and answered
questions at the end of the presentation.
