Phase IV Program in India
Maxwell
School’s Executive Education Program and the Center for Public Policy at
IIM Bangalore welcomed 114 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers
to an 8-week policy analysis and public management training program.
The first four weeks (April 20-May 16) will take place at the Lal
Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie,
followed by a two-week (May 19-May 30) international exposure visit to
in South Korea.
The program in South Korea is hosted by the Korean Development Institute
and will include seminars as well as site visits to other parts of the
country.
The program will conclude with two additional weeks in at the Academy in
Mussoorie (June 2 –June 12).
As part of the program the IAS officers are focusing on developing
policy analysis and reports on issues related to agriculture, disaster
management, health, inclusive growth (poverty alleviation & growth
policy), infrastructure, education, employment, energy, public private
partnerships, rural development and urban development.
This is the second year that Maxwell has delivered this program.
