Xueyi Chen defends her dissertation

Xueyi Chen, Executive Education Program's Program Manager for China Programs has successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation on April 16th, 2009.

The title of her dissertation was "Issues Obtrusiveness in in the Agenda-Setting Process of National Network Television News".

Her dissertation took place at 13-436 Newhouse 3 and was open to the public.

The examining committee was composed of Professors Susan Borker, Fiona Chew, Bradley W. Gorham, and Dennis F Kinsey.

Professor Lianjun Zhang served as chair of the defense.
