IDB delegation attending workshop at Maxwell

High level staff from the Inter-American Development Bank’s regional offices throughout Latin America and the Caribbean will visit the Maxwell School April 26 – 28 for a public sector reform workshop.

These participants have extensive professional experience in the public sector, academia, and the private sector.

The current position with the IDB include management of public sector reform programs with responsibility for writing development loans and technical cooperation agreements on institutional capacity building and public sector administration/management in the region.

Sessions in part will focus on innovation in public sector management and institutional capacity strengthening with an emphasis on the role played by new technologies as strategic tools for institutional reform.

The main objective for each session is to introduce the participants to the current research on the subjects identified and – in a seminar-like atmosphere – to share information and create interactive discussions between the participants and the faculty.
