On Monday, March 14,
2005, the Maxwell School
formally renamed its former Global Affairs Institute
as the
Daniel Patrick Moynihan
Institute of Global Affairs. The day
included a dedication ceremony and
ribbon-cutting; a buffet lunch featuring the
cuisines of Europe, Latin America, and South
Asia; four symposia on topics of interest to
the Senator; and, in the evening, a
reception and dinner.
