Global Europe Program
Preliminary Evaluation

As you may know, we have significantly redesigned the Global Europe Program over the past four years and have instituted many changes that influence this 2007 cohort.  We are anxious to know your views on the evolving format and will be taking your comments quite seriously.  Please take a moment to complete the first in a series of evaluations on each component of the program.

Please note that this evaluation is anonymous; when you hit "send" at the bottom of this page your responses will be e-mailed to the Global Programs Coordinator without any indication as to the message's origin.  Thanks for all of your feedback and for being an active participant in this program!

Part B. Strasbourg Session, September 10-15, 2006

5. Do you feel that the student presentations introducing their internship and institutional analysis were interesting and helpful?  Did this exercise help you prepare for your internship position and bring context to this experience within the program as a whole?

6. Do you feel that the sessions' speakers and discussions were valuable?  Please comment on the each session individually: 1) Lecture on "Economic Challenges to the EU" (Devoluy); 2) Briefing on workings of the ECHR (Tamietti); 3) Briefing on "The Role of the Council in the European Political Structure" (Kattau); 4) Panel discussion on "Turkey: Its future within Europe" (Akgonul and Kayhan); 5) Lecture by Dr. Kauppi; Briefing on "The Role of the Eurocorps and larger European military issues" (Poulain); Panel discussion on "The Recent EU Accession Process for the Baltic States" (Elferts and Streimann).  Would you have preferred more or less speakers, sessions, discussions, readings, etc.?
