GRADUATE STUDENTS
As a candidate for the Master of Arts degree in
International Relations, it is imperative that you distinguish yourself
within a specific field and secure a professional footing in this
discipline prior to graduation. The Maxwell School is unique in
preparing graduate students for a successful career by allowing them to
apply their studies of the discipline in a field setting along with
seasoned professionals. You have the opportunity to work and study
all over the world, learning from scholars, conducting intense field
research, and creating a network of contacts that you will draw on
throughout your professional career.
The International Relations program offers rigorous seminar and
internship opportunities for its graduate students in over a dozen countries around
the world, allowing students to focus on a variety of geographic and
