UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

As an undergraduate student pursuing a major in International Relations, it is imperative that you take advantage of the off-campus opportunities available to you through Syracuse University and The Maxwell School prior to graduation.  These off-campus opportunities are unique from your time here in Syracuse because they allow you to apply your study of this discipline in a field setting--either though professional work in Washington, DC, or through in-depth study of another culture while participating in one of the many study abroad programs offered by SU Abroad.  You have the opportunity to work and study all over the world, learning from scholars, conducting intense field research, and creating a network of contacts whom you will draw on throughout your professional career.  It is never too early to begin thinking about your career, and getting experience abroad or landing an internship in the nation's capital will help you find your position upon graduation.  For more information you can contact the Global Programs Coordinator at global@maxwell.syr.edu.
