Course Listings

The International Relations program is an inter-disciplinary program that draws relevant coursework from across The Maxwell School and the University broadly.  Students have the flexibility to take courses across different departments and so the ability to identify coursework towards the program is easiest when using the course listings provided by the IR program, which list courses that count toward the IR degree from several departments.  Information on which requirements each course can fulfill is also provided in the lists below.

For more information on courses offered at Syracuse University, please visit the online course catalog, which provides brief course descriptions, or MySlice, for those matriculated students who have access to this online system.

Note that the following lists are not comprehensive or completely up-to-date.  Please check MySlice for updated course information or for non-Maxwell courses.  Note that the IR office keeps copies of syllabi on file for most courses.  Please stop by the office or contact us for more information.
