IR Career Tracks and Courses
IR Career Tracks and
Courses
The world of
International Relations is as complex as it is diverse. For
practitioners of International Relations, this means that expertise
must begin with a focus on a particular policy issue as well as
with a focus on a specific region.
For students
who entered the program in fall 2005 or before, please see the
program overview
page for fall 2005 for complete information on the MAIR degree requirements as well
as Career Track and geographic concentration options. The official
IR course list is provided below.
For students
who entered in fall 2006 and beyond, you must complete two Career
Tracks for a total of five courses - three in the first Track and
two in the second. Two of the five courses must be
regionally-focused. Alternatively, students may choose to replace
the second Career Track with a geographic concentration. More
information can be found on the
program overview
page for fall 06. The MAIR
Program offers the following Career Tracks and geographic concentrations:

> Global Markets
