GRADUATE STUDENTS

As a candidate for the Master of Arts degree in International Relations, it is imperative that you distinguish yourself within a specific field and secure a professional footing in this discipline prior to graduation.  The Maxwell School is unique in preparing graduate students for a successful career by allowing them to apply their studies of the discipline in a field setting along with seasoned professionals.  You have the opportunity to work and study all over the world, learning from scholars, conducting intense field research, and creating a network of contacts that you will draw on throughout your professional career.

The International Relations program offers rigorous seminar and internship opportunities for its graduate students in over a dozen countries around the world, allowing students to focus on a variety of geographic and topical concentrations.  Each of the approved graduate global programs opportunities for Maxwell IR students is listed below, and for more information you can contact the Global Programs Coordinator at global@maxwell.syr.edu.
