New student portal...
entering class of fall 2008
Congratulations! We are pleased that
you decided to study International Relations (IR) at the Maxwell School.
The IR Staff designed this site with the needs of new students in mind.
As many of you are traveling around the globe this summer and are in
need of rapid information, we decided that communication between us
could best be delivered electronically. Instead of the typical
paper mailings, you will find all the information you require about
the IR Program and life in Syracuse right here. Please use the
right-hand navigation menu to browse the site.
Allow us to highlight a few items of
importance. The second menu option to the right offers a to-do
list, which spells out the steps you need to take before beginning the
program. Please review this list thoroughly. The third menu
option is an academic advising memo that should help you to better
understand the curriculum and the choices you face in your first
semester at Maxwell. It also outlines the registration process,
which begins before you arrive - on August 1st. Thereafter, you will find pertinent
information concerning orientation, the academic calendar,
courses, global programs, the IR Staff, life on campus as well as in Syracuse, University resources,
and much more.
