Finally, students can enjoy SU’s nationally recognized sports teams
compete in the 50,000 seat Carrier Dome - the only domed athletic
stadium on a college campus.
The Dome also hosts rock concerts and other
major events.
Outside
the university, the historic Syracuse downtown area is very popular
among students because of many diverse cafes, restaurants, galleries and
small shops. Furthermore, the night scene features over 20 bars and
clubs. The heart of downtown is Armory Square,
