Student Life The International Relations Student Association (IRSA) and The Maxwell School’s Public Administration Council (MAXPAC) organize and sponsor a number of various student events. Some of the most popular ones are “Maxwelloween” (the Halloween party of the Maxwell School), the annual Spring formal, and the Beach party (in the middle of winter). Last year, IRSA also organized the “One World” festival, where the cultural diversity of our school was celebrated with a night of traditional art performances from Maxwell students. |

In addition to the Maxwell School, Syracuse University (SU) offers more than 300 extracurricular activities, on-campus speakers, concerts, plays and movies. SU's Arts Adventure sponsors half-price tickets to many local theatres, concerts and visual arts displays. SU Recreation Services features two gymnasiums with handball, squash and racquetball courts, a swimming pool, a fencing room, and weight-training equipment. The Women's Building has a dance studio, tennis courts and a softball field. |

Finally, students can enjoy SU’s nationally recognized sports teams compete in the 50,000 seat Carrier Dome - the only domed athletic stadium on a college campus. The Dome also hosts rock concerts and other major events.
