Costs, scholarships, and payments
We are pleased to let
you know that for all participants registering by 1 February 2016, the
Leadership Institute offers an early-bird discount on the training fee. Below is our schedule of fees.
|| Deadline for
|| 15 February 2016
|| 30 April 2016
|| 15 May 2016
The cost for the 2016 Transnational NGO Leadership Institute is approximately $3,340 U.S. for the five-day program. This includes the training fee (as stated above), six nights of accommodation, 6 breakfasts, lunch meals during the five days of the Institute, three dinner meals, and transportation to local venues. Participants will be expected to arrange for payment of their travel costs, two evening meals and any personal expenses.
Participants who must extend their stay either before or after the Institute should contact Shreeya Neupane, Program Manager (firstname.lastname@example.org) to make arrangements and the fees will be adjusted accordingly.
It has proven increasingly difficult in recent years to obtain external funding for scholarships. Scholarships are therefore limited and modest, and will be awarded on a competitive basis. Scholarships will be applied towards the Leadership Institute tuition fees, or may partially ameliorate the burden of travel costs to participants who must travel long distances internationally. In making award decisions, strong priority will be given to participants who are from transnational NGOs founded in the Global South. The application deadline for participants seeking scholarship is Tuesday, March 15.
If you are interested in participating in the 2016 Institute and do not receive a scholarship but need funding support, please seek funding from your own organization’s donor pool.
