5:30 pm - Reception - Panasci Lounge, 2nd floor, Schine Student Center The evening's events (by invitation only) begin with a reception and banquet honoring Daniel Patrick Moynihan. We are fortunate to have on display in the Panasci Lounge, pieces from the Moynihan exhibit on loan from the Museum of the City of New York. Guests will be directed to the Auditorium beginning at 6:30 pm so that all are seated by 7:00 pm. 7:00 pm - Banquet - Goldstein Auditorium, Schine Student Center Speaking at the dinner (in order of appearance) will be Mitchel Wallerstein, Dean of the Maxwell School, Margaret Hermann, Director of the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs, Nancy Cantor, Chancellor and President of Syracuse University and Charles B. Rangel, Congressman from the 15th District of New York. Tim Russert will then speak and present excerpts from Senator Moynihan's many appearances on Meet the Press. Following the banquet, shuttle buses will be available for anyone parked in the Stadium, Henry or Fine lots.
