| 11:30 am Eggers Commons, 2nd floor Eggers Hall Streaming Video of Dedication Ceremony The Global Affairs Institute of Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Public Affairs is being renamed "The Daniel Patrick Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs" after the late Senator, a former Maxwell faculty member and University Professor. Senator Charles Schumer sponsored and championed, with the support of the New York delegation, the Senate authorization bill |
to support the institute with a ten million dollar endowment. This event is the official dedication and renaming ceremony. It is also the first event in a day set aside to introduce the institute and to explore the legacy of Daniel Patrick Moynihan. The Dedication Ceremony, the Open House and the Symposia are all open to the public. We invite you to attend. Our thanks for pieces from the Moynihan exhibit on loan from the Museum of the City of New York and on display in Eggers Common. |
