EU Simulation 2006
The Maxwell European Union Center
will hold its second annual EU Simulation on May 21-22 (Sunday and Monday),
2006 at its Greenberg House in Washington, DC. The simulation is open only to
graduate students.
Using a hypothetical scenario, the aim is to engage participants in an in-depth
study of and thinking about present and potential concerns facing the European
Union. Participants will play the roles of national government representatives
in the Council of the European Union. The simulation scenario will revolve
around a specific criss with ramifications for the European Union's broader
social and security policies. Details of the scenario and necessary
instructions will be sent out to registered participants.
Eleven Maxwell students from the Global Europe Program will join EU Center
Assistant Director Bartosz Stanislawski and approximately forty
other graduate students from American University, Georgetown University, The
University of Indiana, The University of Michigan, Florida International
University, Rutgers University, and East Stroudsburg University.
