Teachers' Workshop

We held our dinner-workshop on "Teaching about the EU" on August 19, 2003, at a time when most teachers were planning their materials for the coming year. It included a broad presentation about the EU by Director Craig Parsons and a presentation of the teaching materials our Center has developed with Timothy Crisafulli, a local high-school teacher.

Business Workshop

On May 19, 2003 the Maxwell European Union Center held a one-day workshop organized by Professor Peter Koveos, Syracuse University, School of Management. The workshop hosted 15 representatives of European companies or governments and approximately 55 regional businessmen and women. The European delegation included a group of Belgian companies and the Chamber of Commerce in Namur, Belgium, Mr. Gerard Seghers, Trade Commisioner, Consulate General of Belgium, and Ms. Barbara J. Maurer, Project Manager, State of Bavaria, US Office for Economic Development.
