Internships
Maxwell International Relations Students
The Maxwell European Union Center offers a comprehensive
program for eligible Maxwell School International Relations students
interested in an internship experience in Europe. The internship may
be with a governmental, non-governmental or business organization in
Europe. The Maxwell faculty member directing the program works with the
on-site internship supervisor to ensure a professionally rewarding
experience for the student. Such dual supervision includes in-person
and electronic modes of communication complemented with site visits
by the program director. The students write reports on the objectives
of the internship and how it is progressing and finally offer a critical
assessment of their experience. More information on the Internship is available at the
following link.

Curriculum Development Grants
Regional University Faculty
The Maxwell European Union Center solicits proposals from faculty of
Upstate New York colleges and universities, including community colleges,
to support development of a new course or a new part of a course that relates
to the European Union. Eligible uses of the funding will include faculty
release time, research assistance, purchase of materials or software,
or travel to Europe. Priority is given to course development
in professional programs. Other criteria include intellectual rigor,
logistical feasibility to complete in one summer's work, the applicant's teaching
record, and relevance to the EU and goals of the Center. For guidelines and
deadlines go to
EU Center
Curriculum Development Grant Guidelines. To see the
