Apply for Grant

Bharati Memorial Grants provide summer funding leading doctoral dissertation research. Students enrolled in PhD programs in the Maxwell School are eligible. Only projects concerning South Asia are eligible.

Grants range from $500 to a maximum of $1500.

Students receiving grants from other sources (e.g., Roscoe Martin, Grad School, Moynihan Institute) must demonstrate that the amount already in hand is inadequate for their research goals.

Applications are due February 23, 2009. Notification of the process is made in early February of each year.
