The Maxwell School of Syracuse University was the first school to provide graduate education in public administration in the United States, and continues to be a leader in the field today.  Graduates of the public administration program serve at all levels of government in the United States and around the world.  Many hold responsible positions in private and non-profit organizations.  Graduates of our doctoral program are faculty at other high quality public affairs programs and research institutes all around the world.

The Maxwell School has a rich multidisciplinary faculty, diverse student body and excellent state of the art facilities that offer each student the perfect environment for graduate education in public affairs.  At Maxwell we strive to make your experience here of the highest quality through a supportive learning environment that will prepare you well for the challenges of the twenty-first century.
