Visit Us

Often applicants wish to visit the Maxwell School when making their decisions regarding graduate study.  While we do not require a visit or interview, prospective students often find these visits helpful and we are pleased to have them join us. 

How  to make the most of your visit:

• Contact us as soon as possible  about the dates you would like to visit so that we can schedule your meetings with faculty and students. Please contact Tammy Delcostello-Emmi in the PA office at tdelcost@syr.edu for assistance organizing your visit.
• Indicate your fields of interest and any faculty members that you would like to meet with during your visit.
• Indicate whether you would like to meet with present Ph.D. students in a particular field.

Based on your stated preferences, we will develop a tentative schedule for your visit and will let you know if there are scheduling conflicts with your preferred dates.

Overnight Accomodations

Current students are willing to host out-of-town visitors overnight, preferably for one night, to help curb the expenses associated with a visit, and we will try to meet all such requests.  If you will be requesting a one night overnight accommodation with current students in Syracuse, as much notice as possible is appreciated and will assist us in meeting your needs.
