Double Program of Study – Two programs of study pursued simultaneously in the same college or in two different colleges. One degree (one diploma) conferred, signed by the dean of the primary college. Two majors appear on the transcript.
Degree requirements in both major programs as well as requirements in the primary college must be completed.
SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT (SOM) - Student must meet all management school requirements and all Policy Studies Major requirements. Student must make an appointment with Prof. Coplin, chairperson of the Public Affairs Program who will complete an internal form and a declaration of major form. Once the Policy Studies major is completed, a memo listing the completed courses and indicating the major requirements have been fulfilled will be sent by Michelle Walker, director, Community Programs, to the SOM undergraduate recorder.
VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS (VPA) -Student must make an appointment with Prof. Coplin who will complete an internal form. Student nearing completion of the Policy Studies major must see Michelle Walker to verify that they have completed the major. Michelle will give the student a completed program of study form to submit to their home college. VPA will accept this form as an indication that all coursework has been satisfied for a double major.
HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES (HSHP) - Student must make an appointment with Prof. Coplin who will complete an internal form. Student nearing completion of the Policy Studies major must see Michelle Walker to verify that they have completed the major. Michelle will give the student a completed program of study form to submit to their home college. A memo indicating the courses taken to complete the major will be sent by to their undergraduate recorder.
