Inaugural Faculty Research Grants Awarded

Over the past 3 years, PARCC has advanced research and expanded faculty participation through academic conferences that have been the springboard for books and journal articles.  In 2009, we adopted a new tactic by offering small research grants to fund PARCC faculty associates with innovative ideas.  We were delighted by the large response, diversity of projects, and significance of the ideas.  Ten grants were awarded for projects in such areas as spoiler of peace, collaborative public leadership, environmental conflicts, public deliberation, labor engagement, and public memoirs of violence.  A detailed list is below.
