Public Affairs Dispute Resolution and Consensus-Building

Summary

This syllabus outlines a course that addresses the theory and practice of dispute resolution and consensus-building in a public policy context.  Federal, state, and local case studies and exercises are employed to help students develop skills in multi-party conflict analysis, assessment for dispute resolution intervention, and negotiation and facilitation processes.  Students also learn the skills of collaboration and group dialogue.
