CMC Outreach

CMC offers training and workshops in conjunction with University and community organizations.  Some of these outreach events occur on a regular basis; others are one-time sessions based on need or desired outcomes.  These can take the form of everything from workshops to small group facilitation.  What they all have in common is that they provide an opportunity for conflict transformation or interpersonal communication skill building.  Various organizations within both the University and Syracuse area communities contact the CMC to assist with professional development in conflict management or facilitated discussions.  Consultation is done to determine the appropriate match for desired outcomes and CMC’s programs.  Examples of Community Outreach Partnerships include CNY Speaks, Onondaga Lake Partnership, Tomorrow's Neighborhoods Today, First Year Forum, etc.
