The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at
Syracuse University is proud to be the host of the 11th National
Public Management Research Conference to be held at the School on June 2-4th. Since 1991 when the first conference was held
also at the Maxwell School, the Public Management Conference has become the
pre-eminent gathering for the leading scholars in public management research
from around the world. This bi-annual
event is sponsored by the Public Management Research Association whose mission
is “to foster multidisciplinary research from a variety of fields on government
and governance.” PMRA “supports the
development of empirical and normative inquiry, theory building and systematic
testing of theory consistent with the canons of social science, using the full
range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.”
