Comparative analysis on the difference in the political institutions between
Western and East Asian countries, state-society relations, theories on civil
society, public and private relations, gender studies, new institutionalism,
place and power.

Current Research Projects:
Survey on young generations and their use of NNITs in the fields of
politics, campaigns, and elections in the upcoming presidential election in
December 2007, in Korea. In addition, Dr. han is involved in standard based
Information Technology research collaborations with North Korean scientists
including Regional Scholars and Leaders Seminar (RSLS) Technology English
Program in Beijing and Junior Faculty Leadership and Development Program for
D.P.R.K at Syracuse University.
