My name is Dominika Peko and I am a junior from Jordanville, NY studying International Relations and Policy Studies with concentrations in Europe, international security and diplomacy, and society and the legal system.
My experience at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy has been the best internship I have ever had! I have the opportunity to learn about international and domestic sides to policy, and work in a wide variety of areas, while learning about new possible career paths. I would like to go into a joint Master in Public Policy and Law program after I attain my undergraduate degree, with the end goal of becoming a policy adviser.
This semester in DC has been amazing. My internship and the classes I have taken have helped me form a plan of what I would like to do in the future. In addition to this, it has been a truly eye opening experience to visit different embassies, organization and listen to such wonderful speakers who are more than willing to answer any questions.
