Majeed will present an overview of the prevailing situation in Kashmir, the stated positions of India and Pakistan on Kashmir, and its consequent impact on the political and security situation in Kashmir. The talk will offer a fair view from the ground in Kashmir by a journalist turned academic who has reported the conflict for local and international media for 12 years and has been awarded for his work.
