Population Health Symposium

When: Friday, November 2, 2018 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Where: 304 Schine Student Center

Description:

This event aims to build interdisciplinary relationships between population health scholars on the hill to generate proposals for external funding. The day will consist of lightning round research talks by faculty members from SU, SUNY Upstate, and SUNY ESF, and will highlight the resources and focus of research centers at the institutions. Participants will have the opportunity to brainstorm ideas for specific funding proposals during break out sessions centered around major themes: Child & Maternal Health, Environmental Health, Addiction & Mental Health, Veterans, Trauma, & Violence; Disability; and Health-Related Policy.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please let us know when registering whether you require any dietary accommodations.

The Population Health Symposium is a CUSE Grant project convened by: The Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion, Aging Studies Institute, Falk College, SUNY Upstate, and SUNY ESF.
