ies and ensure a life of dignity for all.Prior to joining Oxfam India\, Dr
. Agrawal worked with the World Bank for almost 20 years and as a Research
Associate at the Impact Research Center at Melbourne University from 1985
to 1989. Dr. Agrawal is a member of the global Gender Advisory Committee
to the World Bank. Dr. Agrawal is an economist by training and has a Ph.D
in Economics from the University of Virginia\, Charlottesville\, Virginia\
, U.S.A. She also earned an M.A. in Economics from the Delhi School of Eco
nomics\, and a B.A. (Honors) in Economics from Miranda House\, Delhi Unive
rsity
