 This study attempts to understand the perceptions and beliefs of public of
 ficials and representatives from various decision-making groups that are r
 elevant to the public and private partnership fields and transportation in
 frastructure policies in Costa Rica. This research will serve at least thr
 ee purposes. First\, it will help parse out various perspectives on transp
 ortation infrastructure. &nbsp\;Second\, the results will inform research 
 in several areas\, including transportation infrastructure policy\, public
 -private partnerships\, and public participation and civic engagement. Fin
 ally\, it will elucidate themes in this area that are worthy of future res
 earch. The hope is that this research will generate both academic and prac
 titioner-oriented publications and presentations.&nbsp\;Conversations in C
 onflict Studies is a weekly educational speaker series for students\, facu
 lty\, and the community. The series\, sponsored by PARCC\, draws its speak
