 ouncil of Europe and assistance programs in Eastern Europe. In the late 19
 90s and early 2000s he was engaged in conflict resolution and post conflic
 t stabilization in the Balkans and North Caucasus. He took up his present 
 position in the field of drug policy in 2004.Elena Hedoux is the program m
 anager for executive trainings on drug policy and she also works for the S
 ecretariat of Permanent Correspondents and the Ministerial Conference. She
  also holds responsibility for cooperation between the Pompidou Group and
