DESCRIPTION:The Public Administration and International Affairs Department 
 will be hosting an introductory session to our PAIA Friday lunch discussio
 n’s on Friday October 9th. The Friday lunch discussions seek to engage stu
 dents in thinking about a range of career opportunities and skills\, conne
 ct current students with alumni\, engage students from across our differen
 t degree programs in service activities\, and develop stronger ties among 
 all department students during their time at the Maxwell School. In this i
 ntroductory session\, Associate Dean and Chair David Van Slyke hopes to en
 gage with all PAIA students to get your feedback on what types of speakers
  and sessions would be of most interest. \nThese sessions will take place 
 on Fridays throughout the semester from 11:45-1:00pm and will be open to a
