 h Preston Green and Craig Richards) of Financing Education Systems\, a gra
 duate level textbook on school finance policy. He has also written a multi
 tude of peer reviewed research articles on state school finance policy\, t
 eacher labor markets\, school leadership labor markets and higher educatio
 n finance and policy. His recent work has focused on measuring cost variat
 ions associated with schooling contexts and student population characteris
 tics\, including ways to better design state school finance policies and l
 ocal district allocation formulas (including Weighted Student Funding) for
  better meeting the needs of students. He received his BA from Lafayette C
 ollege\, his MA from UConn\, and his PhEd from Columbia University.Two of
