 bana. Jia Man will introduce the basic principles\,\nhistory and philosoph
 y of Ikebana in an easy-to-understand way and explore different\nIkebana s
 tyles. In addition to learning techniques of Ikebana\, the\nworkshop will 
 focus on mindfulness and relaxation. Students will create their\nown Ikeba
 na arrangements and be encouraged to approach their arrangement with a\nse
 nse of calm and peace.&nbsp\;Jia\nMan is an adjunct professor of Chinese a
 nd Japanese language and East Asian culture at Le Moyne College. In additi
 on to her academic work\, Jia is an\naccomplished practitioner of Japanese
  Ikebana (Zen flower arrangement) and\nChinese and Japanese calligraphy. S
 he is a member of Ikebana International NY\nand joined the Ikebana Interna
 tional shows in person in 2022 (Paris &amp\;\nLondon) and 2023 (Brussels) 
 and was recently selected for the 2023 online shows\nby Ikebana Internatio
