 ember 23\, 2016 unexpectedly. In honoring his memory\,\na paver has been i
 nstalled in the Orange Grove on the SU Quad\, where we will\nmeet on Frida
 y October 6\, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. to celebrate his time at Syracuse\nUnivers
 ity as a student and as a faculty member. A reception will follow with lig
 ht refreshments in 110 Eggers Hall.Peter was a valued\nfaculty member of\n
 the Economics Department since 2014. He was a dedicated alum and received 
 his\nPh.D.\nin Economics from SU in 2003\, after serving in the Army follo
 wing high school and then working\nat Miller Brewing until\nits closing in
  1994. Peter was a passionate teacher\, and\nloved both his traditional\ns
 tudents as well as his\nnon- traditional students who came back\nto school
 \, as he had\, later in life.\n\n \n\nPeter was an adored husband\, father
