 he region while capitalizing on\navailable opportunities that lie ahead be
 fore South Asian economies. This talk\nwill focus upon the unique nature o
 f the sustainability challenges at the\nglobal level with special focus on
  South Asia&nbsp\; Professor Narula will\npresent the case of SDG 2 (End H
 unger) to explain the vulnerability of\ncommunities towards the challenges
  of food security and nutrition and the need\nfor innovative solutions bac
 ked with indigenous cultural knowledge as a means\nto achieve potential su
 ccess. A regional framework based on technology\, policy\,\ncapacity build
 ing and market based interventions&nbsp\; is proposed. Sapna NarulaDr. Sap
 na A. Narula\nis a well-known academician\, researcher\, practitioner in s
 ustainability who has\nmade immense contribution to the field of sustainab
 ility in business landscape\nthrough her teaching\, research and consultan
 cy efforts. She has also played a\nkey role in advancing education for sus
 tainability in India through a number of\ninitiatives targeted at raising 
 awareness generation and capacity building\namongst corporates\, youth\, m
 anagers and policy-makers. She is currently a\nprofessor and dean at Nalan
