 he lyric content as well as the context of where and how\nthe songs were a
 nd are presented.\n\nDr. Kattau is a bilingual singer-songwriter\, perform
 er\, and\nrecording artist. She has published articles and given many work
 shops on nueva\ncanción. She holds a doctorate in Spanish language and cul
 ture from Syracuse\nUniversity and is Associate Professor in the Departmen
 t of Modern Languages at\nSUNY Cortland.&nbsp\; Dr. Kattau is also an\navi
