 bsp\;Diane Swords has a Ph.D. in Social Science from Syracuse University’s
  Maxwell School. Her research interrogates power and identity in social mo
 vement strategy and democratic leadership. As a social justice educator in
  the Intergroup Dialogue Program\, she co-facilitates dialogue classes on 
 race\, gender\, faith and socioeconomic status. She has also contributed a
  chapter on intergroup dialogue for the forthcoming book\, Transforming In
 tractable Conflicts. Her discussion will be based on that work.&nbsp\; Con
 versations in Conflict Studies is a weekly educational speaker series for 
 students\, faculty\, and the community. The series\, sponsored by PARCC\,
