 ersity&nbsp\;Authors:&nbsp\;Lorenzo\nCaliendo (Yale University)\, Fernando
  Parro\n(Federal Reserve Board)\, Esteban Rossi-Hansberg\n(Princeton Unive
 rsity)\, Pierre-Daniel Sarte\n(FRB Richmond)We\nstudy the impact of inters
ectoral and\ninterregional trade linkages in propagating disaggregated pro
ductivity changes\nto the rest of the economy. Using regional and industry
data we obtain the\naggregate\, regional and sectoral\nelasticities of me
asured TFP\, GDP\, and employment to regional and sectoral\nproductivity c
hanges. We find that\nthe elasticities vary significantly depending\non th
e sectors and regions affected and\nare importantly determined by the spat
ial structure of the economy. We use\nthese elasticities to perform a vari
ety of counterfactual exercises including a\ndetailed study of the effects
of the\nboom in the Computers and Electronics industry in California.&nbs
