 ? Ingrid Srinath is the Secretary General of CIVICUS\, an influential glob
 al membership based network of civil society organizations. CIVICUS is ded
 icated to strengthening civil society throughout the world. Prior to joini
 ng CIVICUS Ingrid served as Chief Executive of India’s leading child right
 s advocacy organisation \, Child Rights and You (CRY). At CRY\, she led a 
 team of over 200 employees in 7 offices based in India and overseas throug
 h a process of organizational transformation from a charity orientation to
  a rights-based approach. Among its many achievements was the grassroots m
 obilization that led to the amendment of India’s Constitution to make educ
 ation a fundamental right. Ms. Srinath also was a Senior Fellow of the Syn
 ergos Institute\, a US based network for non-profit leaders and global phi
 lanthropists. Prior to that\, she worked in the private sector\, chiefly i
 n marketing and advertising. We are honored to welcome Ingrid Srinath as t
 he Fall 2009 Moynihan NGO Fellow. Ms. Srinath will be resident at the Moyn
 ihan Transnational NGO Initiative from October 8-21 to undertake research 
 and reflect on her organization’s challenges and opportunities. Lunch will
